LADY BOSS
Lady Boss is a social enterprise formed in 2025 by a group of women caterers who believed they could deliver restaurant quality food from their home kitchens. Business support continues to be provided by Kind Communities, Preston Co-operative Development Network and Preston City Council.
KIND KITCHEN
Kind Kitchen is a delicious offshoot of Kind Communities. Kind Kitchen was created to bring people together from all walks of life, with the aim of improving access to good food and a healthier way of life. Visit Kind Kitchen to find out more.
Refugees & Asylum Seekers
Kind Local provides informal ESOL classes, and helps resettlers learn and improve their English, integrate into their local communities and socialise. Our classes and workshops and workshops are held at community venues in Preston and Leyland. Contact esol@kind-communities.org for details of your local class.
Students
We brought together a team of highly committed Student Health Champions and Volunteers to improve the reach of Covid-19 Public Health messaging into Preston’s South Asian Heritage international student community, and to uncover the reasons behind high Covid-19 transmission rates in Preston.

Your physical and mental health and wellbeing is a priority. We can provide the tools you need to help you feel more positive, and get much more out of life. Join our exercise, gardening or cooking classes to put a spring in your step, and smile on your face.
